Government has decided to broadcast live the trial of former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina who has been made accused in many of the cases filed with the International Crimes Tribunal in Dhaka on charge of committing genocide and crimes against humanity during the recent Anti-Discrimination Student Movement.
A high-level meeting of the government has taken the decision, said newly appointed Chief Prosecutor of the International Crimes Tribunal Md Tajul Islam.
He further said that they have already sent letters to the Deputy Commissioners, Police Superintendents and Civil Surgeons seeking information on mass killings.
They have also sought information from all the graveyard authorities across the country.
