Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus said, “Now we are ready for the elections. We will arrange elections for the new government in mid-February.”
During a joint press meet after the official talks and signing of five MoUs and exchanging three notes, Yunus said, ”We can bring the country back to normal through election. For this, we need a lot of help and we expect Malaysia’s help.”
Expressing gratitude to the Malaysian government for providing education and employment opportunities to the youth, he also urged the country’s businessmen to invest in Bangladesh.
”We want to thank Malaysia for hosting so many of our people and we hope this door will remain open and become wider so that we can host many other young people to come and work in Malaysia and learn a lot.”
CA Yunus said Bangladeshi workers who come to Malaysia learn many things and when they go back home start their own businesses and launch their own economic activities. “So, we are very grateful to Malaysia for doing that.”
