BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, who was admitted to United Hospital in Dhaka early Wednesday, has returned home.
Earlier, at 12 midnight on Tuesday, Fakhrul was taken to the hospital after he suddenly fell sick at his Gulshan residence, hours after returned from Thailand.
Earlier on Tuesday evening, Mirza Fakhrul returned to Dhaka from Bangkok after a follow-up eye treatment. After arriving in Dhaka, he went straight to his Gulshan home before attending a meeting of the BNP’s National Standing Committee at the party chairperson’s office.The meeting continued until around 11PM.
