Facebook accounts of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD)-backed VP, GS, AGS candidates have been cyberattacked.
Vice-president (VP) candidate Abidul Islam Khan, general secretary (GS) candidate Tanvir Bari Hamim and assistant general secretary (AGS) candidate Tanvir Al Hadi Mayed reported that their accounts were disabled on Monday morning.
At a press conference on Monday noon, they confirmed the matter.
Meanwhile, Chhatra Shibir-backed VP candidate Abu Sadik Kayem and research and publication secretary candidate Sajjad Hossain Khan’s accounts were also allegedly disabled, according to Shibir activists.Sajjad complained that his account was suspended through a cyberattack.
”Those failed in the field politics, took the path of cyberattacks,” said VP candidate Abidul Islam Khan.
Shibir-backed GS candidate SM Farhad said, ”IDs of our panel candidates are being cyberattackd many times. Some IDs have already been suspended.”
