The construction work of the memorial pillar (Sarok Sthombo) started recently on the Supreme Court (SC) premises dedicated to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
Chief Justice Hasan Foez Siddique inaugurated the construction work of the pillar, which will be built in the inner garden of the Supreme Court, on December 15.
Supreme Court Appellate Division Judges, High Court Division Judges, Attorney General A M Amin Uddin, President of the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) Md Momtaz Uddin Fakir and Secretary Abdun Noor Dulal were present.
