For the first time, the exam will feature both multiple-choice (MCQ) and written components. The written section will carry 10 to 20 marks, with the final structure to be approved by the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC), the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare announced following a meeting on Monday.
Confirming the matter, Professor Dr. Nazmul Islam, Director General of the Directorate General of Health Services said that preparations for the exam are already underway.
The meeting was attended by BMDC President Md. Saiful Islam, Additional Secretary of the Health Education and Family Welfare Division Mallika Khatun, Director of the Directorate General of Health Services Professor Dr. Mohiuddin Matubbar, and other senior officials.
The application process, schedule, and detailed instructions will be released approximately six weeks before the exam, according to the Directorate General of Health Services.
