He added that more detailed updates would be provided later.

However, at the time of the statement, flames were still visible on the second floor of the northern section of the cargo village, where six fire service vehicles were actively working to control the fire.

Four more flights diverted to Ctg airport

Four more flights have been diverted to Shah Amanat International Airport in Chattogram following the massive fire that broke out at the cargo terminal of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka.

Two flights of US-Bangla Airlines and two of Biman Bangladesh Airlines were diverted from Dhaka on Saturday afternoon, confirmed Chattogram airport’s spokesperson Ibrahim Khalil.
