Upon learning about the attack, Sharsha Upazila BNP General Secretary Alhaj Nuruzzaman Liton visited Navaron Government Hospital in the afternoon. He inquired about Mostafa’s condition and collected information regarding the damage caused to his business establishment. Liton also spoke to other patients at the hospital. Those accompanying him included, Akhtaruzzaman, Organizing Secretary of Benapole Municipality BNP, Mostafiz Joha Selim, Convenor of Sharsha Upazila Jubo Dal, Mofizur Rahman Babu, Convenor of Benapole Municipality Jubo Dal, Selim Hossain Asha, Member Secretary of Sharsha Upazila Swechchhasebak Dal, Omar Faruk, Member Secretary of Benapole Municipality Swechchhasebak Dal, Shariful Islam Chayon, Convenor of Sharsha Upazila Chhatra Dal, Mohaiminul Sagor, Senior Joint Convenor of Chhatra Dal, Arifur Rahman Arif, Convenor of Benapole Municipality Chhatra Dal, Local leaders and activists have demanded the immediate arrest and exemplary punishment of those involved in the attack. They called for justice for the perpetrators.
