The government on Thursday approved the drafts of four new ordinances, with the Council of Advisers granting both final and in-principle approval during its weekly meeting held at the Chief Adviser’s Office in the capital.
The meeting was chaired by Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus.
The ordinances approved are the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Ordinance (Amendment) 2025, the Prevention and Suppression of Human Trafficking and Smuggling of Migrants Ordinance 2025, the Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (RAJUK) Ordinance 2025 and the National Human Rights Commission Ordinance 2025.
Following the meeting, Chief Adviser’s Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam briefed reporters at Foreign Service Academy in the afternoon.
