At least three people were killed when a truck rammed an easy-bike in Shilabristi filling station area of Kaliakair on Dhaka-Tangail highway on Monday (19 February) morning .
The deceased were known as Jahidul Islam, son of Abbas Ali, Mabzel, son of Ieakub Ali, Shawkat Ali, son of late Hasan Ali.
Police said cement-laden a truck hit the three-wheeler around 6:30am in the area, leaving the three people dead on the spot and injured two others.
Noajor highway police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Shahadat Hossain confirmed the matter.
