Rain will continue in four divisions of Bangladesh on Monday under the influence of depression, but shower will start to ease from Tuesday, according to Bangladesh Meteorological Department.

Meteorologist Abul Kalam Mollik said on Monday, “A couple of showers are typical during the monsoon, but the weather should improve quite a bit from tomorrow. Then temperature will slowly start to climb again,” reports bdnews24.com.

It has been raining in different parts of the country since a depression in Bay of Bengal turned into a land of deep depression. Dhaka saw persistent rain throughout Saturday and Sunda, but the sun began peeking out from behind the clouds on Monday.

The BMD says there may be quite a bit of rain in Khulna, Rajshahi, Barishal and Rangpur divisions, but the rain’s intensitywill drop in the Dhaka, Sylhet, Mymensingh, and Chattogram divisions.

In it’s regular bulletin, the BMD said that most of the Rajshahi and Khulna divisions, many parts of the Rangpur division, and some parts of the Mymensingh, Dhaka, Barishal, Sylhet and Chattagram divisions may see temporary gusty wind and light to moderate rain or thundershowers in the 24 hours from 9:00 am Monday.

Parts of the Rangpur, Rajshahi and Khulna divisions may see moderate to heavy rain.
