BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir visited Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) on Tuesday (September 2) to see Nurul Haque Nur, the president of Gono Odhikar Parishad.
He arrived at the hospital around 12:15 pm and inquired about Nur’s health and treatment progress. Nur was injured during a clash on August 29 between activists of the Jatiya Party and Gono Odhikar Parishad in Bijoynagar area in Dhaka. Along with Nur, the party’s general secretary Rashed Khan and several others were also injured in the incident.
Following the clash, Nur was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of DMCH. As his condition improved, he was transferred to a cabin on Monday afternoon.
