Voting for the Jahangirnagar University Central Students’ Union (JUCSU) and Hall Union elections concluded on Thursday (11 September), after running from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm.
Vote counting is currently underway.
Professor Rashidul Alam, Member Secretary of the Election Commission, said on Thursday evening that the results are expected to be announced by Friday (12 September) noon.
“Votes are being counted manually. It may take until tomorrow morning or afternoon to finalise the results,” he added.
