The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has set up special arrangements to manage import and export goods following the massive fire at the cargo village of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.

The fire, which broke out on Saturday around 2:15 PM in the airport’s courier warehouse, destroyed goods stored for import and export, disrupting trade operations.

To maintain smooth operations, the Civil Aviation Authority has designated the GSE Maintenance area for temporary storage of goods, where Customs officials are conducting physical inspections. Clearance processes are being carried out through Gate 9, connected to Asycuda World.
