The Bangladesh Nationalist Party has revealed the names of its candidates for 13 out of Dhaka’s 20 constituencies in the upcoming 13th parliamentary election.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir declared the names of the party’s possible candidates at a press conference held at the BNP chairperson’s Gulshan office in the capital on Monday.

According to the announcement, Khandaker Abu Ashfaq has been nominated for Dhaka-1 constituency, Amanullah Aman for Dhaka-2, Goyeshwar Chandra Roy for Dhaka-3, Tanvir Ahmed Robin for Dhaka-4, Nabiullah Nabi for Dhaka-5, Ishraque Hossain for Dhaka-6, and Mirza Abbas for Dhaka-8.

Besides, MA Qaiyum for Dhaka-11, Saiful Alam Nirob for Dhaka-12, Sanjida Islam Tuli for Dhaka-14, Md Shafiqul Islam Khan for Dhaka-15, Aminul Haq for Dhaka-16, and Dewan Mohammad Salauddin for Dhaka-19 have also been nominated to run for the seats.

The names of aspirants for Dhaka-7, 9, 10, 13, 17, 18, and 20 constituencies will be announced later.
