Pragati Life Insurance PLC, in partnership with Brac Bank PLC, has successfully settled its first insurance claim under the Bancassurance platform, marking a significant milestone in Bangladesh’s growing bancassurance sector.

Following the unfortunate demise of a policyholder, a cheque amounting to Tk. 12,28,484 (Twelve Lakh Twenty-Eight Thousand Four Hundred Eighty-Four) was formally handed over to the nominee at a ceremony held at Brac Bank’s Head Office in Dhaka. The event was attended by. Md. Jalalul Azim, Managing Director and CEO of Pragati Life Insurance PLC, and Tareq Refat Ullah Khan, Managing Director and CEO of Brac Bank PLC.

Notably, Pragati Life Insurance settled this claim within just 48 hours, demonstrating its strong commitment to prompt service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Speaking at the event, both CEOs emphasized the vital role of bancassurance in promoting financial inclusion and expanding access to insurance protection across Bangladesh.
