Chattogram Royals sign Delport and Kamran

Chattogram Royals have bolstered their squad ahead of the 12th edition of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) by signing South African all-rounder Cameron Delport and Pakistan batter Kamran Ghulam.

Delport is no stranger to the BPL, having featured in four previous seasons of the tournament. In 31 matches, the left-handed batter scored 363 runs at a strike rate of 142.60, registering four half-centuries. He also contributed with the ball, claiming eight wickets with his medium pace. Overall, the 36-year-old brings vast T20 experience, having played 278 matches in the format, scoring 6,290 runs with five centuries and 32 fifties, along with 71 wickets.

Alongside Delport, the Royals have secured the services of Pakistan’s Kamran Ghulam. The right-handed batter has represented various franchises in the Pakistan Super League (PSL), featuring in five seasons and 29 matches. He accumulated 578 runs in the tournament, including two half-centuries. At the age of 30, Kamran has played 86 T20 matches overall, scoring 1,834 runs with one century and 11 fifties.
