President to cast vote through postal ballot

President Mohammad Shahabuddin will cast his vote in the 13th national parliamentary election and referendum through a postal ballot.
Senior Secretary to the Election Commission Secretariat Akhtar Ahmed confirmed this to media on Tuesday, saying the president’s office has already contacted the commission and necessary arrangements will be made.
Three categories of voters–government employees, members of law enforcement agencies and prisoners– within the country are eligible to vote by postal ballot this time. In addition, expatriate voters in 122 countries are also casting their votes by post.
