According to the ICC’s Future Tours Programme (FTP), the West Indies cricket team is scheduled to tour Bangladesh in October. While exact dates had not been finalized, both boards have exchanged emails to create a tentative schedule. Under this plan, the West Indies, led by Shai Hope and Roston Chase, are set to arrive on 15 October to play three T20s and three ODIs.

The 17-day tour will conclude with the team returning on 2 November. Sources from the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) indicated that the schedule will be finalized in today’s board meeting, including the dates and venues. A BCB director, speaking on condition of anonymity, confirmed that the series will begin with T20 matches.

All T20 matches are planned to be held in Sylhet to help players prepare for the 2026 T20 World Cup, while the three 50-over ODIs will take place at Mirpur.

Following the West Indies tour, Ireland will visit Bangladesh for a 27-day series starting 7 November, with the red-and-green side set to play a full three-format series against the visitors.
